Our mission is to provide decent, safe and quality housing in the Tri County area.  Our constant goal and commitment is to serve low to moderate-income families and assist in providing improved housing in a responsible way with social awareness and community needs.

 

 

Tucked away in North Central Florida is the heart of Levy County where we provide housing for families in Bronson, Chiefland, Williston, and Cedar Key.  We also provide housing in Trenton which is located in Gilchrist County and housing in Branford which is located in Suwannee County.

 

We offer Public Housing in Levy, Gilchrist, and Suwannee Counties and we offer Section 8 in Levy, Gilchrist and Wakulla Counties.  Please note: ALL waiting list have a LOCAL RESIDENT preference (proof required).

 

 

Our Public Housing Units range in size from one bedroom up through four bedrooms.  Rents are based on 30% of income and residents are responsible for their own water and electric.  All units are total electric with central heating and air.

NCFRHA Takes Measures to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

The North Central Florida Regional Housing Authority (NCFRHA) is committed to doing everything we can to ensure the health and well-being of our residents, staff, and the community.  We are taking steps to change the way that we manage some things and have established guidelines to ensure the highest level of safety of our Residents, Applicants, and Staff. 

Until further notice, NCFRHA will implement the following precautions:

  • We will be limiting entry to 1 family in the office lobby at a time, due to Social Distancing efforts.
  • Annual and Interim re-exams will continue to be accepted via mail, e-mail, placed in drop box or by appointment.

    If you have an appointment and are experiencing or have been exposed to someone who is experiencing fever, cough, shortness of breath or any other symptoms linked to COVID-19 as described by the CDC, we ask that you please DO NOT enter our office. You may call or email to re-schedule your appointment for a later date.

    If you are a current Resident, Landlord or Section 8 participant or applicant, please contact us directly via email (housing@ncfrha.com), telephone (352-486-5420) or fax (352-486-5423).  If you need to turn in paperwork for housing, please send it to us via U.S. mail, email or use the drop box located outside the Bronson office.  Our staff will still be working to assure that housing assistance continues in our community.
